Office and production facility

The aim was to automate climate control management across a 7,000 m² site (comprising 2,000 m² of office space and 5,000 m² of production floor space) and to automate operations at the welding stations.

A project to implement an automated system for the office areas and four production halls, covering energy supply, workplace comfort and optimisation of operating costs.

In the office area, centralised control of heating and cooling has been implemented, with automatic adjustment of parameters to work schedules and actual adherence to the work schedule. Additionally, two conference rooms have been automated, integrating control of lighting, climate and systems.

In the production system, which controls the gas heaters in the four halls, the temperature is regulated to ensure even distribution, a function largely carried out by the gas

The next stage of automation implementation involves welding equipment. Belimo actuator control has been implemented, activating the extraction system’s filtration at the moment of start-up. Detection of the device’s operation is based on analysis of the power source — the power sources are connected to sockets with energy meters, which allows the system to utilise the start-up moment and process resolution.

The solution ensures:
• automatic start-up, exclusively during operating hours,
• reduced energy losses,
• excellent health and safety conditions,
• elimination of errors associated with manual operation.

An added benefit of the system is the real-time analysis of energy consumption by individual welding stations. This provides data on usage, enabling performance monitoring, optimisation of results, and data utilisation based on raw data.

The result is a scalable, industrial-grade automated system that integrates office and production functions into a single, cohesive ecosystem for management and application.
