Challenge
Our friends at Limited Hype have a wide variety of expensive clothing and a rare shoe collection. While located in a nice friendly neighborhood, there is always a need for security and surveillance regarding their business. We needed to make sure they have surveillance and 24/7 security.
Solution
While Loxone offers a very robust and secure system for all security needs we also added a Loxone master speaker to cover their retail area, and wow does the 10" fill a room with vibrant music! Loxone was able to provide 24/7 security using the caller service integration. We were also able to Stream a 5-camera system over to the Loxone Miniserver while utilizing the door contacts and presence sensors for burglary alerts.
Previously we had an all-based system. While it did the job and we were okay with it we had a minor theft and when we went to check the cameras they were nowhere to be found. We also had random calls to the police, which is never fun. While the old security system worked 60% of the time, Loxone has yet to fail. Our biggest eye-opener is how easy it was to add music all throughout the retail area. Previously we were using a mobile Bluetooth speaker and we were able to tell the difference immediately. While the previous system worked when we called for support it was always a call center. With Loxone we have a local trustworthy company to contact in Babcon.
