The Moon Room

The Moon Room is a fusion of gastronomic and astronomical experiences.



Winemaker Gérard Bertrand has opened the Moon Room at the Château de L'Hospitalet in Narbonne, where you can taste food and wine in harmony with the planets, accompanied by music.



The Moon Room, imagined by the Languedoc winegrower Gérard Bertrand in Narbonne, in his castle of L'Hospitalet, is a unique gastronomic space, out of the ordinary and out of time. The walls of this space backing onto the Art de Vivre restaurant are black, with no windows. The round table is topped with spheres - the planets - which light up, one after the other.



The ultra-sensory experience lasts more than three hours. The dishes offered by chef Laurent Chabert are paired with wines from different estates in the Gérard Bertrand constellation. Each is presented with a corresponding planet, creating a universe - a moment of life unfolding in this ambient atmosphere through music.

A Miniserver Compact manages the Philips Hue lighting already present, and orchestrates the audio phases.



Lighting and audio are synchronized according to time delays or manual triggers via Touch switches or a tablet in the service path.
