Smart complex - Hotel and Kitchen

The aim of the project was to implement a coherent automation system in two adjacent facilities: a hotel and a professional industrial kitchen.

The client required a centralised management system that would integrate lighting, security, access control, surveillance, energy management and operational readiness of the facility — in both the hotel and catering sections.

The key challenge was to integrate numerous external systems into a single logical platform enabling real-time monitoring and optimisation of operating costs.

The Loxone system has been implemented as the central management platform for the entire complex, integrating the hotel and catering facilities into a single, cohesive ecosystem.

Commercial kitchen

In the catering area, the system includes:
• control of indoor and outdoor lighting,
• continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity throughout the facility,
• energy consumption monitoring,
• integration of smoke detectors,
• integration of external access control systems,
• video surveillance with AI image analysis integrated into the Loxone system.

Thanks to centralised data, the investor has full control over environmental parameters and energy consumption, which has a direct impact on workplace safety and the facility’s operating costs.

Hotel

In a hotel facility, the Loxone system is responsible for:
• measuring and monitoring energy consumption,
• occupancy management in rooms,
• automatic room preparation prior to guest arrival (thermal comfort and lighting scenarios),
• integration of security systems,
• conference room automation including AV system integration,
• lighting control in communal areas.

Occupancy management allows for the optimisation of energy consumption in rooms and the automatic switching of room operating modes depending on their status.

Conference room automation enables simplified control of lighting, multimedia and event scenarios from a single interface.
