The Bavarian family business has the well-being of its chickens at heart. And since not only humans can benefit from the unique Loxone comfort, the operators decided to use the Miniserver to control lighting, temperature and co.



The automated processes also create great added value for the operators themselves. And of course, the conditions thus created have a positive impact on the productivity of the animals.

Loxone ensures a perfect climate in the chicken coop. In addition to a temperature sensor, a sensor for measuring relative humidity is also required for optimal temperature control. The two measured values are recorded by the sensors via the analog inputs of the miniserver. The corresponding control of the ventilation system takes place via an AO extension. This is responsible for both the control of the relative humidity and the control of the temperature in the automated chicken house.



The hens can leave the two aviaries and spend time in an outdoor enclosure. The time-dependent control of the total of six outlet flaps was realized by using a Relay Extension.
