Challenge
This project presented a significant challenge, with multiple outdated and disjointed systems in place - many of which had lost any real level of controllability, offered limited functionality, and no longer met the expectations of a modern, efficient building.
Solution
To address the requirements of the space, a flexible and fully controllable lighting solution was implemented, designed to adapt seamlessly throughout the day and create the right atmosphere for different moods and settings. Soft, dimmable lighting was carefully configured to respond to both natural daylight and evening light levels, ensuring a consistent and comfortable ambience at all times.
By installing the Loxone Miniserver alongside dedicated RGBW 24V Dimmers, the lighting was intelligently zoned into distinct areas of the bar. This allows each area to be controlled independently while remaining part of a unified automation system.
Predefined lighting moods have been created for morning, lunchtime, and evening operation, with the flexibility to fine-tune or override settings as required. For day-to-day operation, staff have been trained on using the intuitive Loxone App and local Touch Pure switches, providing simple, reliable control without the need for technical expertise.
