The family’s goal was to transform their four-bed, detached 1930’s house into an aspirational and intelligent home, while it underwent a complete overhaul and refurb. With the clients wanting stress-free, simple, cosy living but in a unique, modern, stylish space, these factors work hand-in-hand with the convenience of Loxone’s intelligent slick smart home technology. With working from home being a regular feature of family life, it was crucial to create spaces that provided both an ideal working and living environment. The homeowners also put emphasis on the importance of lighting, with it being a critical element to setting an atmosphere.

Loxone partner, Halo Haus, consulted throughout the project, documenting a creative plan and design process that would include bespoke lighting and a plan for a holistic smart home, so as to fulfil all of the families expectations and requirements. The install included so many features with highlights being the mood and sensor lighting, to create the ideal atmospheres for the time of day and what the family are up to. Efficient multi-zone heating which schedules for the work week, working from home, weekend and more. Multimedia on demand allowing the family to fulfil a key requirement of making the most of their relaxation time. Classy security with features like away mode by a triple tap of a touch surface on the way out. All encompassed in Loxone’s state of the art, show worthy technology, in which the family can be proud, and show it off to guests, with the panel being beautifully displayed in a clear perspex case in the garage. Some of the family’s favourite parts about their smart home is the stylish luxury en-suite and the fact that when guests ring the doorbell the lights inside the house flash to let the family know that someone is at the door.
