Taking advantage of overproduction

The client came forward with a desire to install a wallbox and provide charging for the electric car with surplus energy from the photovoltaic installation.

A solution was proposed in the form of a Miniserver Compact installed inside the Loxone Wallbox, connecting a sub-meter and communicating via Modbus Air. SolarEdge inverters equipped with Modbus TCP were connected without the use of additional extensions. Within a day, the car was charging with green energy.
