Challenge
In the past, it has often happened that the elderly resident forgot to switch off the hob and thus risked an apartment fire. In Italy, the use of gas in the kitchen is still the most widespread in most households. A solution had to be found to prevent the danger.
Solution
By means of a presence detection in the kitchen, the gas is now turned off in the event of a longer absence. The customer can set the duration himself in the app. As soon as the resident enters the kitchen, the gas supply is restored.
It can be so simple: With a central control unit (Miniserver Go), a sensor (presence detector Air) and a switched socket (Smart Socket Air), which blocks the gas valve, lives can be saved and a house fire avoided.
