The smart vacation home combines comfort, energy efficiency, and ease of use in a well-designed integrated system. Automated processes ensure that guests feel at home from the moment they arrive, while keeping operations efficient and hassle-free for the owner.

The goal of the project was to intelligently automate the vacation home. The mini-server independently reads the booking calendar and automatically prepares the house for arriving guests. Shortly before arrival, the property is thoroughly ventilated, the blinds are raised, and other processes ensure an optimal first impression.

In addition, the wallbox is activated for guests and generates a detailed, consumption-based bill after their departure. During periods without occupancy, the vacation home is lowered to a defined temperature for energy efficiency. Room sensors continuously monitor the indoor climate, while door and window contacts provide security and reliably detect unauthorized access.
