Challenge
Modern construction required getting all the technology under control and interconnecting it so that the owners could spend as much time as possible with their family and enjoy the benefits and comforts of their new home to the fullest.
Solution
The important thing for this smart home was to take all the technologies at the beginning and plan how to connect them before the actual project.
At LK smart, we focus on the importance of the technologies working together as a whole so that we can make the most of everything in the house.
In a smart home, the main landmark is the living room connected to the kitchen, which houses the fireplace that creates the warmth of the home. Next is the electric underfloor heating, which was the preferred choice given the input costs, then the heat recovery with cooling and air heating contributes to the climate in the house and as a whole this is complemented by the blinds, Door & Window Contact, the Weather Station with intelligent control from Loxone.
As the project was counting on lighting, we chose for all of the lights to be 24V with dimming function in order to fully exploit the potential of dimming and chromaticity for each scene and mode.
The security of the smart home is monitored by a Smoke Detector Air, Water Sensor, Door & Window Contacts, and all this is complemented by Presence Sensors, so the owners know exactly whether they just forgot to close a window when they left or whether someone is trying to get in for an unexpected visit.
As a great addition there is also audio for system announcements, but also for parties that the young family can organize indoors and on the terrace.
The photovoltaic system complements the family house and communicates with Loxone so that the system uses the energy produced as efficiently as possible, allowing the owners to save further on the functionality of the smart home.
For this project, we at LK smart tried to get the most out of the system, and we succeeded by planning the technology at the start and connecting it to Loxone.
