Exclusive villa high above Meran

The operator of an exclusive guest villa high above Merano wanted to provide convenience and comfort for their guests through intelligent automation to save their valuable time. The list was extensive: the heating, the outdoor lighting and the watering of the outdoor facilities should be fully automated. Additional security was also required in the wellness area, as well as an easy-to-operate wall box for charging the electric cars on the property.

Twilight-controlled outdoor lighting was implemented, including the lights in the dreamlike infinity pool looking onto Meran and its beautiful mountains. The villa also received fully automated irrigation: eight watering circuits supply the lawn and the plants with sufficient water. The hotel's heating control includes 35 zones for 16 guest rooms. Safety was also considered: emergency buttons were installed in the sauna and the relaxation room. With the Loxone app, the charging of electric cars is now easily monitored and completed. The hosts of the villa are very happy about the reliable automation system, which reduces their workload and saves a lot of time.
