Challenge

Create a seamless access control system to allow remote located vehicle access and guest entry as well as access to the clubhouse, gym, pool and amenities all on one unified access control system.

Solution

We utilize the Miniserver, Touch Flex, Intercom and NFC Code Touch seamlessly to allow resident vehicle and guest vehicle access to resident homes as well as a central clubhouse will all amenities. This solution relies on the ultra secure Trust component to link several Miniservers for unified access control of all functions and locations.

It is a seamless and logical solution to apply to this access control challenge. The residents have control over the gate when guests call for access, but due to the Loxone Intercom, they can also video chat securely to see who is at the vehicle gate and know with 100% certainty who they claim to be. This of course is not possible with a telephone only gate access solution. Residents can also scan their Loxone NFC tag at the gate pedestal if needed for vehicle access as well as simply drive through with their registered vehicle due to the vehicle RFID tag integration with Loxone.<br /><br /> At the clubhouse, residents have scheduled access to the clubhouse commons and 24/7 access to the gym with the same Loxone NFC tag used for vehicle access a mile away.<br /><br /> Since the project completion, Loxone has been expanded to include background music all through the clubhouse, gym and pool. It even controls the grills, fireplace and firepit for safety and controlled hours! The Text to Speech is used to communicate with the residents giving them feedback when the grills, fireplace and firepit are turned on and when the time has expired.
