Eleonon Residence

This highly challenging residence required extensive custom integrations based on equipment that had already been installed or ordered. These included the installation of LOXONE Touch surface switches behind bathroom tiles, integration of a third-party audio system, VRV climate control integration, a smart lock system, pool lighting and cover control, Somfy RF shutter motor integration, and KNX dimmable lighting driver integration. Additional systems included an full integration of the ethanol fireplace, underfloor heating and a custom made irrigation system which includes the LOXONE weather station.

The solution was delivered through a fully customised LOXONE control architecture that unified all systems into one seamless platform. By combining native LOXONE technology with bespoke third-party integrations, every subsystem of the residence was brought together under a single intuitive interface.

The KNX audio system was fully integrated with the LOXONE server, enabling doorbell notifications and security alerts to be automatically announced throughout the property via the audio system. This ensured immediate awareness, enhanced convenience, and an added layer of safety across the residence.

Lighting scenes were created to manage KNX dimmable drivers, pool lighting, and ambient settings throughout the property. Climate control was optimised through integration of the VRV system, underfloor heating, and weather data from the LOXONE weather station, ensuring efficient and responsive temperature management year-round.

Motorised shutters powered by Somfy were automated according to schedules, sunlight levels, and occupancy, while the smart lock system provided secure access management and remote control capabilities. The ethanol fireplace was fully integrated into the automation system, allowing safe and convenient operation as part of comfort scenes.

A custom irrigation solution was developed using live weather conditions and scheduling logic to minimise water consumption while maintaining the landscape. The final result was a sophisticated smart home where comfort, efficiency, security, and luxury operate together effortlessly through one intelligent ecosystem.

The finishing touch was the installation of the Touch surface switch, discreetly positioned behind the tiles in the en suite bathroom, allowing effortless control of the bathroom lighting and audio system even while showering.
