The customer wanted a comprehensive automation solution including a pool and sauna.

The complete renovation was implemented using a central LOXONE system that intelligently networks all building services. At the heart of the solution is the Miniserver, which centrally controls and automates lighting, shading, climate control, security, access, the pool, sauna, and energy management.

For lighting, DALI luminaires, LOXONE Tree/PWM spotlights, and dimmable LED strips were used. This allows for the automatic or manual creation of individual lighting moods. The shading system reacts dynamically to weather data and automatically ensures optimal sun and privacy protection.

The climate control and energy technology were also fully integrated: the heat pump, heating elements, and other appliances are intelligently controlled according to available PV energy to maximize self-consumption. The energy flow monitor provides transparent visualization of total electricity consumption.

Special attention was paid to comfort and security. The sauna was fully automated with LOXONE, including temperature, lighting, and audio control. The pool also operates fully automatically – from the filter pump and temperature control to the pool cover and water treatment.

In addition, numerous sensors continuously monitor temperatures, humidity, doors, and security-relevant conditions. The entire building communicates across all trades and automates many tasks, although manual intervention is possible at any time.
