Challenge
The integration of a single-family home (EFH) with a Loxone Smart Home system brings with it numerous challenges. These particularly concern the control of shading, heating, air conditioning and access control.
Shading:
The control of shading systems (blinds, roller shutters) must be possible both manually and automatically. This includes adaptation to weather conditions and times of day in order to maximize energy efficiency and comfort.
Heating:
The integration of heating requires synchronization with weather data and presence information in order to create optimal heating profiles. Various heating systems (e.g. underfloor heating, radiators) must be taken into account.
Air conditioning:
The air conditioning must be dynamically adaptable to ensure a constant and comfortable room temperature. The control of ventilation, cooling and dehumidification represents a particular challenge in order to maintain a healthy indoor climate.
Access control:
The implementation of secure access control is essential. This includes the integration of RFID, biometric systems or code locks to prevent unauthorized access while ensuring convenience for authorized individuals.
