"I want to be able to control everything in my building with LOXONE." That was the task of the client, who already knew LOXONE from his private home. An office building for four tenants with an adjacent warehouse was built. Each building area should be independent so that the respective tenant can control the basic functions for themselves via LOXONE.

Lighting, shading, climate control in offices and halls, gate controls and alarm functions were easy to implement thanks to LOXONE. However, since all tenants have their own, independent network system, the biggest challenge was to implement a coherent access control for the entire building and an intercom for everyone at the main entrance.

Each tenant should be able to assign access rights to employees themselves in their LOXONE user administration so that they have access to their own company but also to general areas such as the courtyard gate, main entrance and the LOXONE Wallboxes.

Almost the entire LOXONE range of functions was used in this project.

By setting up a LOXONE "Trust", all LOXONE Miniservers transmit the user rights in encrypted form over the Internet to the "main" Miniserver, which then regulates the access authorisations with the many different NFC Code Touches. This also regulates the voice and video transmission when the doorbell rings at the main entrance across different networks.

The LOXONE Tree and network intercommunication and the gateway client system were also used to exchange weather data, central functions and consumption values of the Wallboxes between the 7 Miniservers.
