Challenge
The aim of this project was to equip the construction company's new office building with intelligent building automation. This three-storey building was created using a hybrid construction method - i.e. a reinforced concrete core with walls and ceilings made of wood.
Solution
In the three-storey office building, lighting, shading, heating, security, multimedia and more were implemented automated with Loxone. In this way, countless manual tasks are relieved from the employees every day, which ensures increased comfort in the office.
The underfloor heating with cooling function, the cooling ceiling and regulated room ventilation ensure a perfect room climate. Security was also a particular focus - around 100 Smoke Detectors were installed in the building - programming them proved to be a challenge. The access system was also implemented with Loxone.
The automated lighting perfectly showcases the new office building. Above all, the individual exposed concrete and wooden elements are particularly emphasized and give the office a pleasant atmosphere. Another advantage of automated lighting is that forgotten office lighting is also a thing of the past. Since the building is equipped with generous glass fronts, automated shading is particularly advantageous here.
