Bjørnengveien 15

Bjørnengveien 15, a 2,500 m² commercial building in Fredrikstad, Norway, has undergone a major renovation to bring it up to modern standards of functionality, energy efficiency and comfort. The key challenge was to integrate various building systems such as lighting, climate control, access and security into a unified automation solution that would both improve operational efficiency and provide a pleasant working environment for tenants. As Witana planned to set up its own offices in this building, it was particularly important to impressively demonstrate our expertise in building automation with this project.

Witana implemented a comprehensive range of advanced building automation solutions specifically tailored to the requirements of Bjørnengveien 15. These included intelligent lighting control systems that dynamically adapt to occupancy and daylight, automated sun protection systems for efficient heat regulation and integrated air conditioning and ventilation controls for a comfortable indoor climate. This was supplemented by precise heating control, charging stations for electric vehicles to promote sustainable mobility and robust access control and alarm systems for maximum security. We also installed energy management and monitoring systems to optimize energy consumption. These integrated solutions not only comprehensively modernized the building, but also serve as an illustrative example of our expertise, as Bjørnengveien 15 is now home to Witana's headquarters.
