Reda Municipal Library

A project was implemented in a public building to intelligently control the indoor climate. the aim was to achieve efficient, needs-based control to increase comfort and energy efficiency - realized with the Loxone system.

A pleasant and constant indoor climate is essential for the quality of time spent in a library. This includes an even temperature, efficient air exchange and an overall comfortable atmosphere. In order to reliably meet these requirements, the library's indoor climate was automated using the Loxone system. The following measures were implemented:

1. Heating Control: Integration of the municipal district heating station for targeted control of the flow temperature supplied to the individual floors.

2. Individual Room Control: control of the underfloor heating distributors on the basis of internal temperature measurements for demand-oriented heat distribution.

3. Ventilation Management: connection of two ventilation units for automated control of air exchange, supported by continuous measurement of air quality.

4. Central Monitoring: complete control and monitoring of the indoor climate via the Loxone App - at any time and from any location.
