Challenge
To do this, it was necessary to have a system capable of communicating with all the equipment involved: Aerothermal energy, photovoltaic inverter, energy meter and temperature control of each room.
Solar power is not linear, so it varies depending on the time of day and the climate.
Activating the Aerothermal system with maximum power can produce excessive consumption when there is little radiation. On the other hand, the Aerothermal may have been operating at maximum power during the beginning of the day, but in the afternoon it no longer needs to heat the home any more and the second half of the day of solar generation is wasted.
Solution
The Self-consumption installation is 10Kwp, so on cloudy days it is capable of generating at least 700w, enough for the Aerothermal Energy to operate all daylight hours.
The introduction of an oversized buffer tank acts as an energy accumulator which continues to provide heat during the last hours of the day when there is no longer any sun.
With LOXONE it was very easy to communicate with all the photovoltaic generation equipment and be able to control the electrical consumption of the home. Thanks to the outputs incorporated into the Miniserver, the digital inputs of the Aerotermia could be controlled. And finally, the control temperature probes could be connected to the built-in analog inputs. The Hardware is made up of only a Miniserver and the 2A power supply.<br /><br /> Programming with LOXONE was based on joining the different already pre-programmed blocks. In such a way that the objective achieved has been achieved. Aerothermal only works when there is sun and hardly consumes energy from the grid. In addition, with the energy price control functions, the aerothermal system can be turned on at more economical hours if solar energy is not enough.<br /><br />
