Old salt storage becomes an automated event space
A historic storage facility for the world-famous Bad Reichenhall salt was converted into a modern event centre – including Loxone technology. In addition to lighting, particular emphasis was placed on efficient air conditioning due to the building’s age which means that the temperature fluctuates a lot. Therefore the temperature and air quality is also being monitored and controlled by Loxone.
It was important to us to create a smart project with simplicity, where you can change a lot with just a few clicks and adapt the building to the current situation. This simplicity must start with low-cost cabling and installation and extend to system openness for various third-party systems throughout the building. Whether it’s the caretaker or the lighting technician for events, everyone must be able to master the system immediately.
