Does Exosphere run in the cloud or locally?

Exosphere is a cloud-based online solution. You access it via exo.loxone.com with your LOXONE account, and data is shared exclusively on an opt-in basis.

Can I export Exosphere data?

Yes, databases can be exported as a schema and imported into LOXONE Config. CSV exports are also available.

Is secure remote access possible?

Yes. With the Remote Connect service, you can securely access your building automation anytime, from anywhere. The connection works without the cloud or third-party tools and is protected by true end-to-end encryption.

How does Exosphere differ from the standard visualization in LOXONE Config?

While the standard visualization is primarily used to control a single building, Exosphere offers a higher-level layer for analyzing, comparing and managing multiple installations at the same time.

Can I expand my system later?

Yes. All Miniserver variants are compatible with each other and can be expanded at any time without setting up the existing system from scratch. LOXONE relies on an integrated overall system with open interfaces. This keeps your project expandable and plannable for the long term.
