How secure is my data?
Security is the top priority, especially when it comes to sensitive information such as personal or medical data.
With LOXONE, all data stays where it belongs: in your own building. Processing takes place locally on the Miniserver – without any cloud requirements or external servers. This keeps systems independent, reliable, and protected from unauthorized access.

How does fall detection work?
The fall detection system detects when someone has fallen and is unable to get up. It uses presence sensors to monitor movement in individual rooms. If no movement is detected in the current room or the next room after a certain period of time, an alarm is automatically triggered, enabling rapid assistance.
How does analyzing behavior and certain routines help?
Analyzing daily routines, behavior, or certain habits can be a big help – and even save lives in an emergency. Here are a few examples:
Analyzing daily routines
Habits shape our daily routines. If there’s a dog in the house, for example, it’s a good idea to analyze when it goes outside. If these have not been opened by 10 a.m., a care alarm is triggered.
Observation of rooms
Kitchen, bathroom, toilet – normally we move through the various rooms. If one or more rooms have not been visited by 10 a.m., a notification is sent.
Supervision of medication intake
If the door of the medicine cabinet is not opened at least three times a day, the relevant persons are informed. This ensures that important medications are taken regularly.
Analysis of behavior
Changes in behavior can provide important clues to health problems. If the toilet is visited frequently at night, the relevant persons are informed.
