What is automated smart lighting control?
Lighting control means adjusting lighting to suit the moment – automatically, efficiently and comfortably. Intelligent lighting control goes beyond simply “on/off” and ensures that lighting reacts automatically to presence, natural light, or the time of day. This creates the right atmosphere at the right time, without the need for manual adjustments.
What features does the LOXONE lighting control system offer?
In a traditional building, you have to go to the switches regularly to control the lights. With LOXONE, you get a touch-sensitive button to control the lighting and much more.
- Automatic lighting based on presence
The lights turn on when a presence sensor detects movement. - Lights can simulate occupancy when you’re not there
As a deterrent, the lights turn on and off periodically to make it look like someone is home. - Lights turn off automatically when they’re not needed
Depending on the room, the lights turn off if no movement is detected for a certain period of time. - Turn off all lights with a single switch when you leave your home
You’ll never have to worry about leaving the lights on again. You can turn off all the lights using the switch by the front door when you leave the building. - Taking natural light into account
If there is already sufficient natural light in a room, the lights in that room won’t turn on when someone moves to save energy. - Centralized monitoring and control of lighting via the app
With the app, you can see whether the lights are on or off and even control them, whether you’re at home or away. - The lights stay on when sound is detected in a room
For example, if you’re watching TV in the living room, the sound will turn on the lights even if no movement is detected. - Dimmable lighting
The brightness levels of lamps with this feature can be adjusted in the app or via a switch. - Night mode lighting
When motion is detected at night in rooms with dimmable lighting, only a low light level is turned on so you aren’t blinded. - Optional automatic door lighting
