Challenge

Urban Hawker, located at the famous Times Square in Manhattan, NY, faced the challenge of creating a seamless dining experience while efficiently managing energy consumption. They needed an automated lighting system that could adapt to different times of the day and add to the ambiance. In addition, they wanted to incorporate a solution to monitor and control the ventilation, the extractor hood, the food storage and processing area, and the fresh air intake.

The restaurant now enjoys automatic lighting that seamlessly adjusts throughout the day, enhancing the dining experience without the guests even noticing. Loxone's system also enables convenient remote control and monitoring of the ventilation and energy systems, optimising efficiency. Moreover, the detailed energy consumption monitoring of each booth allows the owner to analyse usage patterns and make informed decisions for better energy management. At any time, the owners can check the status of all aspects of their building with energy flows and reports conveniently in the Loxone App.

We can also monitor the energy consumption of every single booth – for building purposes and to troubleshoot problems. In this project, we are monitoring and recording every booth for energy use. The owner receives a monthly email with the statistics of every one of them. There is no monthly fee, which is awesome! I don't think any other solution out there does that.
