Your shading is for more than just shielding your home from the sun. It works with other components of your home to reach your comfort temperature and protect your furniture.
Your home is like you. It knows what you like, and when. With Loxone, you can let your blinds and shading look after themselves – opening, closing and adjusting depending on the time of day and the temperature. In the summer, the blinds close automatically when a room reaches a set temperature, to prevent overheating. In the winter, many of us leave for work and arrive home in the dark. In a Loxone Smart Home, your blinds would open when the sun comes up and close automatically at dusk.
7:00 – Good Morning
Everyone is up and dressed. The shading in the entire house is automatically raised and the morning sun streams through the windows for a great start to the day.
9:00 – 11:00 – Passive Heating
Your home uses the natural warmth of the sun to bring your rooms to comfort temperatures.
11:00 – Autopilot Shading
Your blinds respond automatically depending on the weather conditions and room temperature. If it is too warm inside, the shading automatically adjusts the angle of the blinds or closes them.
17:00 – Storm Protection
If a storm occurs, and you have external shutters or awnings, these will automatically retract to protect against wind damage.
20:46 – Privacy
As the sun begins to sink, your blinds are closed automatically to offer privacy and help you unwind after a busy day.
Unlimited Flexibility for all types of shading
The Loxone Smart Home is infinitely flexible and adapts to you and your individual needs. Regardless of whether you have blinds, curtains or roller shutters, you can integrate them into your smart home.
Harness the power of the sun
Use the energy from the sun to bring your rooms to a comfortable temperature. The blinds are kept open during the day until the room reaches its desired temperature, and then lowered to prevent overheating.
Easy to control
Controlling your Loxone Smart Home is as simple as it is smart. You only need one Loxone Touch switch to control your blinds, lighting and music in each room. Using two corners of the Loxone Touch for “Blinds Up” and “Blinds Down”, you can manually operate and adjust your blinds at any time.
Your blinds react to the sun’s position in the sky and close to prevent overheating.
Smart Alarm Clock
Be woken gently by natural sunlight as the blinds rise to meet the morning.
Blinds will close automatically at dusk to give you privacy.
You can set up a child-lock on your switches to prevent children from operating the blinds and manually control the blinds instead from your smartphone.
Group your blinds to save having to control them individually – first floor, west side, bedroom… it’s up to you! You can have as many groups as you like.
Your roller shutters and awnings can be integrated with rain and wind sensors, so that they automatically retract at the first rumble of thunder.
If no one is home, your blinds go into security mode. This means if there is a break in while you are out, the blinds will open alerting your neighbours and passersby to anyone that shouldn’t be inside your home. If you are home and a fire breaks out, then the blinds will open so as to expose escape routes.
While you’re on holiday, as part of Presence Simulation, your blinds will open and close just as if you were home so as to deter potential burglars. When you are home, the blinds will close at night so as to give you and your family privacy and an extra sense of security.
Fed up of the shrill wail of your alarm clock in the morning? Why not wake up in a more natural way? As the sun rises, your blinds can open to let the morning rays filter into your bedroom and wake you gently.
In the Loxone Smart Home, your components work together and not against each other. This intelligent interplay allows your shading to integrate effectively with your heating, lighting and more, thus providing even greater energy efficiency, safety and comfort.
