Niepołomice Warehouse

The goal of the project was to meet the investor's needs in the area of optimizing the fixed costs of maintaining the facility.

Loxone solutions were implemented in an office and warehouse complex.

It includes two separate office spaces with a total area of 1,600 m2, a hall with a three-story mezzanine with an area of 3,500 m2 put into use in 2012 and a high-storage hall with an area of 3,000 m2 put into use in 2023.

Lighting:
Building automation comprehensively manages lighting in all parts of the facility, such as: office space, warehouse, exterior. Thanks to automation, savings in electricity consumption of 20% were achieved. In a high-bay warehouse, Loxone presence sensors are installed at a height of 10 meters and perfectly detect presence, switching on only the necessary part of the lighting. Additionally, the facility's external lighting is controlled thanks to the internal functionality of the system.

Climate:
The Loxone system fully controls the temperature in the entire building. Room Comfort Sensors ensure high comfort of work in various zones of the facility, while ensuring the highest possible efficiency. The system logic copes well with various types of heating. Heat in the facility is provided by panel radiators, underfloor heating, low-temperature heaters and high-temperature heaters. Thanks to intelligent heat management, the desired temperature is maintained in every part of the facility. Additionally, Loxone controls the ventilation of warehouse spaces.

Heat source control:
The challenge of the project was to transfer the entire logic of gas boilers, heating mixers and circulation pumps to Loxone automation. Using Loxone components, we integrated two gas boilers with a total power of 400 kW so that they work efficiently in relation to the demand for thermal energy.

Security:
Loxone automation has been integrated with the alarm and fire systems, and with a 50kW photovoltaic installation. Thanks to this, building supervision and the status of the most important devices are available in one place.
The Loxone App notifies about such events as: fire alarm, burglary alarm, failures of fire protection/intrusion detection systems, exceeding the temperature in the local data center, status of uninterruptible power supplies, and notifications from Water sensors.
