Challenge
As part of an ambitious project, a 300 m² villa on the Île de Ré was fully equipped with a Loxone home automation system, providing centralised, intelligent control of all its functions. The aim was to optimise every aspect of the house, both in terms of comfort and energy efficiency, by integrating all the equipment under unified management.
The installation covered all the electrical and home automation systems, enabling automated management of interior and exterior lighting, windows and doors, heat pump heating, hot water production and ventilation systems. Access control, gates, video surveillance and video door entry systems have also been integrated to guarantee optimum security.
Energy optimisation was also at the heart of the project, with the introduction of precise monitoring of energy and water consumption, solar panel management and an intelligent load-shedding system to adjust consumption according to solar production. A charging point for electric vehicles has also been installed, integrating perfectly with the home automation ecosystem.
Comfort and entertainment have been enhanced by a multiroom audio system, multimedia management, and IT and TV networks. The swimming pool is fully automated, with filtration and heat pump control for optimised management.
