For an exclusive cigar lounge in Houston, an ambiance was to be created that combined maximum comfort with intelligent building automation. A centralized solution was sought that seamlessly integrated access, lighting, climate control, ventilation, audio, and surveillance, offering guests an exceptional experience – without complicated operation.
Solution
With LOXONE, a fully networked building automation system was implemented, uniting all functions in a single system. Guests gain convenient access via NFC code touch. Upon entering, lighting, music, and room ambiance are automatically activated and adapt to their usage – all without switches or separate apps.
A particular highlight is the intelligent control of climate and ventilation. The ventilation system reliably removes cigar smoke and works automatically with the air conditioning to ensure a comfortable room climate at all times. Simultaneously, the system continuously monitors the humidity in the humidor and automatically notifies the user as soon as action is required.
LOXONE also ensures greater efficiency in daily operations: New members can be easily managed, personal music preferences can be individually stored, and all functions are centrally controlled via a single system. The result is a luxurious cigar lounge where technology works discreetly in the background and comfort becomes second nature.
