Smart Office Schaffhausen

The challenge of this project was, among other things, digital access for all employees with different authorizations, from apprentices to management, as well as getting the best out of the building in terms of energy.

The solution lay with Loxone, with all the benefits of intelligent building technology. The office and the workshop with garages require almost no switches. Daylight control and presence detection save energy and always ensure ideal lighting conditions. An important aspect is the heating control, which is only operated in comfort mode during opening hours and is completely turned down at weekends. The automatic shading, in conjunction with the air conditioning, ensures a perfect indoor climate in summer and is monitored throughout the building using a CO2 sensor. Thanks to the photovoltaic system, the Miniserver can be used to intelligently charge at several charging points, thus distributing the energy in the best possible way. The Loxone audio server provides subtle background sound in the office and lounge, also generates important announcements in an emergency and is integrated into the alarm system.
