Challenge
A mountain guesthouse owner was dealing with high heating costs and inefficient key handover management. He needed a system that would allow remote preheating of rooms before guests arrived and automatic temperature reduction after they left to avoid wasting energy in empty rooms.
Solution
The Loxone installation ensured intelligent control of zone heating in each room separately. Access to the building and rooms is handled using NFC code keypads, which eliminates physical keys - guests only need a generated code. The system also automatically turns off the lights and closes the shades in unoccupied parts of the building. The owner has an overview of everything in the mobile application, even if he is hundreds of kilometers away.
