Event Room

Transforming the Maricel Room at the Sunway Playa Golf & Spa Hotel in Sitges into a multi-purpose space capable of hosting meetings, presentations, dinners, and celebrations. The goal was to unify the controls for lighting, climate control, audiovisual equipment, and sun protection, simplifying its use for hotel staff and guests, and allowing the ambiance to be tailored to each event.

At 9Habitat, we use Loxone as our central platform to coordinate the room's systems through predefined scenes and an intuitive control interface.

The projection scene, for example, automatically deploys the motorized blackout blinds, screen, and projector platform, turns on the equipment, and adjusts the lighting. When finished, it retracts the elements and conceals the projector in the ceiling, preserving the space's aesthetics.

The solution also integrates climate control, music, microphones, blinds, and awnings, and allows for configuration based on the room's layout, enabling its use as a single space or in separate zones.

Separate interfaces have been created for the sales team and the client. Staff have access to an automated demonstration with voiceovers in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and the option to select the corporate color scheme, while the client can easily access standard functions and usage scenes.
