The Rudkowski & Hag office building required a technical upgrade to significantly improve energy efficiency, security, and user-friendliness. The existing building infrastructure had grown organically from disparate components and lacked a central control system for lighting, shading, climate control, and access. The goal was to create a unified, future-proof solution that would simplify daily operations, reduce operating costs, and simultaneously provide a professional and intelligent work environment for employees and visitors.

The building automation system was completely restructured with LOXONE as the central control platform. All relevant building systems – lighting, shading, climate control, access control, and security functions – were integrated into a unified system and intelligently interconnected. Presence and brightness sensors enable demand-based lighting control, while the automatic shading logic reduces overheating and ensures optimal lighting conditions.



The access control system was converted to a digital, flexibly manageable solution, granting employees and service providers access based on time and authorization. At the same time, the central visualization ensures that all functions can be operated intuitively via app, buttons, and predefined automated sequences. This holistic system architecture has reduced energy consumption, minimized administrative overhead, and ensured modern, efficient building operation.
