As part of a comprehensive renovation, the owners wanted to take advantage of the renovations to make their home smarter and more connected through home automation. This 160 m² home, spread over two levels, includes a large living room, a beautiful summer kitchen, as well as an outbuilding and a garden.

The goal was to take advantage of the possibilities offered by automation to improve daily comfort, save energy, and create a scalable home designed for the well-being of all its occupants.

LIGHTING: All lighting in the house, including the exterior and the outbuilding, is entirely controlled by Loxone. Most of the lighting in the house is RGBW (spotlights, LED strips, etc.), allowing you to create personalized ambiances throughout the day with visual comfort thanks to smooth 24V dimming. Light intensity adjusts according to natural light and presence detection in each room. Everything can be controlled centrally or room by room using the Touch and Touch Pure Flex interfaces.

PRESENCE DETECTION: Each room is equipped with Presence Sensors that automatically turn on the light in case of movement, turn it off when the room is unoccupied, trigger scenarios such as night mode or the alarm, and achieve significant energy savings on a daily basis.

ENERGY: The house is equipped with energy meters installed on various appliances (towel dryers, radiators, hob, TV, etc.) to precisely measure their consumption and provide detailed monitoring of overall consumption. Certain appliances (fan in the laundry room, VMC when the hob is on, etc.) are also controlled according to a defined schedule or specific conditions, which optimizes their operation and reduces energy costs.

ACCESS: Access to the house is via a Loxone Intercom with video feedback available on the app. An NFC Code Touch allows the gate and door to be opened using personalized codes or a fob. The personalized Touch Pure Flex interface can be used to trigger the gate or door to be opened directly from the entrance of the house or from the veranda. It is also possible to generate temporary codes for guests or delivery drivers and control everything remotely.

CONTROLS: Standard Touch interfaces are present in all rooms and combine all useful functions into a single control point: lighting, roller shutters, temperature, and music control. Custom Touch Pure Flex interfaces are also installed in certain rooms to centralize the main functions of the house.

MULTIROOM AUDIO: The Loxone audio system is used for background music in all rooms, as well as for the connected Intercom, the audible alarm in case of intrusion, smoke, or flooding, as well as for audio notifications.

INDOOR CLIMATE: The main heating and cooling of the house are provided by a ducted system equipped with an Airzone plenum controlled via Modbus. Room-by-room control is achieved using Touch interfaces, which continuously measure temperature and humidity to ensure optimal comfort in each space. Monitoring of the CO2 level in the house also influences the speed of the mechanical ventilation system to guarantee healthy indoor air quality.

SHADING: All the house's roller shutters can be controlled via the Touch interfaces, remotely via the mobile app, or centrally with predefined scenarios such as departure or arrival in the house, or night mode. The roller shutters can also open or close automatically depending on the sun's position and light intensity, to limit temperature increases inside the rooms.

SECURITY: The house is secured with Presence Sensors, Door and Window Contacts, as well as Smoke Detectors and Water Sensors. If triggered, the centralized alarm uses the lighting and audio system to alert the occupants, and notifications are immediately sent to the owners' smartphones.

NIGHT MODE: When going to bed, the owners activate night mode, which turns off all the lights, closes the shutters, silences the Intercom bell, etc. When you're moving around at night, a dimmed light is automatically activated so you can move around the house safely without being dazzled.

MISCELLANEOUS: An iPad attached to the entrance provides access to a complete home dashboard through the App. It displays key home data such as temperature, energy consumption, etc. From this screen, you can also control all of the home's features with just a few clicks.
