Challenge
Renovate the rooms of the Hotel Club Sunway Punta Prima (Es Pujols, Formentera) with a system that offers the guest a comfortable, personalized and simple experience, and that allows the hotel to save energy and manage each room centrally: keyless access, efficient climate, scene lighting, audio and security integrated with the reservation system.
Solution
Each room operates with a LOXONE Miniserver that integrates the entrance, bathroom, bedroom, and terrace:
• Reservations integration: The Sunway reservation system sends data to the Miniserver via API. Upon check-in, the room is automatically prepared, and the Touch Pure Flex switches to the guest's language (Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Russian, Chinese, or Bulgarian). A welcome sequence greets the guest upon arrival.
• Access: NFC Code Touch at the entrance and on the terrace to open the doors, and a card reader that detects if the room is occupied.
• Lighting: Lighting scenes in the entrance, bedroom, bathroom, terrace, and exterior, with groups for the bed, desk, wardrobe, and terrace door, reading lights by the bed and sofa, and sofa and floor lamps. Presence sensors turn on the passageway light and turn it off when no one is present.
• Control from the room: Touch Pure Flex in the bedroom and bathroom, and KNX push buttons with Day and Night functions. • Climate control: Air conditioning and fan control. If a window or patio door is opened, the climate control system automatically shuts off thanks to the window and door monitor.
• Comfort: Motorized curtains, alarm clock, Bluetooth-enabled audio in the bedroom and bathroom, and Sleep and Do Not Disturb modes.
• Safety and management: Smoke detector with fire alarm, visual buzzer, solenoid valve control, energy meter per room, staff alerts, and a Room Availability mode to save energy when unoccupied.

We chose LOXONE because it allows for a single system per room that integrates everything (access, lighting, climate control, audio, security, and energy) and connects with the hotel's reservation system. Guests have an intuitive room experience in their own language, and the hotel reduces consumption and manages all rooms centrally.
