Smart Detached House

In this single-family home, the challenge was to combine high living comfort, energy efficiency, and security without complicating operation for the residents. The desired solution would intelligently automate lighting, shading, heating, and access control while still allowing manual intervention at any time.



Furthermore, the system needed to be flexibly expandable to easily integrate future requirements such as additional rooms, electric vehicles, or security features. The goal was a future-proof home that simplifies everyday life and sustainably optimizes energy consumption.

The requirements were met through a central Loxone building automation system that intelligently networks all the house's functions. Lighting, shading, and heating operate automatically based on occupancy, daylight, time of day, and weather data, thus improving both comfort and energy efficiency.



Individual room control ensures that each room is heated or cooled according to its needs, while automatic shading prevents overheating in the summer and utilizes solar gains in the winter. Access control solutions and security features were integrated to guarantee a high level of protection and control.



Operation is intuitive via buttons, an app, and predefined automation sequences. At the same time, the system remains flexibly expandable, allowing for the easy integration of future requirements such as wallbox integration, additional security features, or further living areas.
