Cinema/Media Room
Fact Check
Challenge
We had a client that wants us to create a new room in their house, with the brief of a media/cinema room which all the family can use but has that something special. We had a basic lounge room to work with, which was a good size shell to create what we had in mind. Working alongside the carpenter, we created a coffered ceiling which allowed us to receded RGBW strip tape, Loxone spots and the ceiling speakers. We added that cinema room feel audio with the Quadral speakers at both the rear and front of the room, along with the sub discreetly tucked in the corner adding to that dramatic sound when in cinema mode!
The media wall was custom built to house the Loxone panel behind the TV, allowing us to simple run more RGBW tape to the shelving points. The Loxone tree spots were programmed with the presence sensor for various settings, dependant on the time of day. To add that final touch to the room, we integrated the automatic blackout blind too.
Solution
This room, although small, gave us a lot of scope to create what we wanted. The lighting scenes were custom designed to work for the client and the controls were added to during the project for the clients ease. Throughout this whole installation, as always, the Loxone team were there to help with any challenges along the way.Loxone is a great home automation system. The range of things you can do with it are almost endless. The config software is usable and the products are extremely reliable. With their support, this takes away the stress of anything that might not be straightforward.
