Challenge
Helga and Peter Lindmoser fulfilled their dream and opened the unique chalet mountain village "Montestyria" in September 2022. The hotel in Styria, Austria has six luxurious chalets and two panorama suites and is perfect for escaping everyday life. A private bathing jetty, sauna and the heated pool with a breath taking view ensure a relaxing feel-good atmosphere, while active vacationers get their money's worth with the countless possibilities for fantastic hiking and ski tours.
Solution
In the Chalet Hotel Montestyria, routine tasks such as controlling the lighting, heating and more are taken over by Loxone. This supports the hotel staff and provides guests with increased comfort during their stay.
The interior and garden lighting were realized with Loxone and works depending on presence. The lighting creates the right atmosphere and sets harmonious accents in the lovingly furnished hotel. A Loxone Intercom was installed in the entrance area of the hotel in combination with an NFC Code Touch. With the temporary codes, which can be entered on the NFC Code Touch, access for hotel guests is managed. The feel-good chalets have their own wellness area with a Finnish sauna, with the sauna being controlled via Loxone.
Loxone also monitors the fill level of the drinking water reservoir. The sensor sends the data about the fill level to the Miniserver, which reacts as required. There are also charging stations for electric cars in the hotel car park. Thanks to Loxone, the recordings of the loading times can be viewed directly at the reception. In addition, the complete heating control was integrated into the Loxone system.
