Challenge
The hotel comprises of multiple rooms that each needed to be controlled individually, while also maintaining a clear and centrally manageable system. Furthermore, all rooms needed to be visible in a single visual app for the building manager.
Furthermore, it was essential that the blinds automatically raise and lower when a meeting room was in use, preventing disruption during presentations and meetings. Finally, the system needed to be remotely accessible, allowing for quick service in specific situations and easy adjustment of settings to accommodate changing circumstances.

Solution
By controlling the lighting and shading system with a Loxone Miniserver and the corresponding extensions, the entire system is automated. A Weather Station was also used, allowing the shading to automatically respond to external conditions.
Thanks to the connection between the Loxone Miniserver and our touchscreen control panels, each room can be controlled individually, while the building manager can centrally manage all rooms via a single, user-friendly app (the Loxone App). In addition, our service department can access the system remotely to provide support or adjust settings as needed.
