Belfast Listed Building

Challenge

The client contacted us because they wanted to renovate a listed building, which needed to be finished to the highest of standards as it was under scrutiny from the HED due to its listed status. We had to carry out all work while keeping the original feel of the 1906 building.

Solution

We installed a Loxone system accompanied with Gallo Speakers across the space as we were not allowed to fit speakers into the ceilings. However, as switches and other elements were being adjusted, we could widen tracks and get speaker cables into wall positions. We were able to get the house done with all its mod cons, and implemented full security and networking in the building while keeping the structure looking as close to its original look and feel as possible.

We got an allowance to use Touch Pure switches throughout so this made the project work really well and gave us a lot of options especially with being able to control lighting, heating, audio and blinds from a single switch in a room. The client was impressed with the quality of the installation and having all control from 1 point in the room.
