Mounting

Attach the supplied plastic mounting frame to a flat surface or a flush- or surface-mounted box. For flush-mounted installations, a 100 x 100 mm flush-mounted box is recommended, as it provides suitable mounting points and sufficient space for LAN or Wi-Fi adapters. This is not required when using Tree Turbo. Without a flush-mounted box, the mounting frame must be secured directly to the wall, for example using dowels.
A device box is not strictly necessary but simplifies storing the connection cables behind the device and creating a reserve loop.

Recommended mounting height: 1.45 m

Connect the power supply (orange/white terminal) and select the desired data connection: Tree Turbo (green/white terminal) or USB-C. USB-C requires adapters, sold separately:

  • LAN: USB-C -> Ethernet adapter

  • Wi-Fi: USB-C -> USB-A adapter -> Wi-Fi dongle

Place the display onto the mounting frame and slide it down until it clicks into place.

Commissioning

For commissioning, the device must be supplied with power. The further setup depends on the used interface via Tree Turbo or LAN/Wi-Fi.
Alternatively, the Wall Display 10" can be connected directly to the Miniserver on the display.

Via Tree Turbo

A connection to the Miniserver Compact or Audioserver must be established via the Tree Turbo interface.

Then follow the pairing procedure on the Tree Turbo Interface.

Via Network

Connect the device to the network via LAN or Wi-Fi.
After a successful network connection, the device can be added using the Network Device Search in LOXONE Config.

Programming

When a Wall Display 10" is added, a user is automatically created for this device. Permissions for this user can be assigned via the User and Rights Management. Functions requiring elevated permissions, such as expert settings or searching for Air/Tree devices, are disabled by default.

In the properties window, the app's display appearance can be customized:

The display is programmed and further set up using the Wall Display 10" function block:
