OVERVIEW

Pendants are one of the most common form of lighting found in our homes. In their base form they are centrally placed in a room to shine light out to all areas, normally the lamp/bulb is attached using a generic fitting to the end of a cable or wire. They are typically the cheapest and simplest form of main lighting in a room.

Pendants are not always a simple plain fitting as they can take many forms and there are some beautiful designs on the market today.

This section will also apply if looking to control most other types of light fitting such as Wall Lights or Outside Lights.
