Two-Factor Authentication for LOXONE Accounts
Effective immediately, LOXONE accounts are even more secure thanks to two-factor authentication (2FA). In addition to your password, you’ll confirm logins with a temporary one-time code that you’ll receive via email.
It requires little effort but offers great protection: according to Microsoft and Google, 2FA prevents well over 99 per cent of automated account takeovers.
How it works
- Log in as usual using your LOXONE account.
- You will receive a one-time code by email.
- Enter the code in the login window – this confirms your login.
2FA will be introduced from Version 17.2.10.21 (Release). Version 17.3.10.22 (Beta) LOXONE Config is supported. To ensure you can continue to use our tools as normal, you will need to update to one of these two versions.
