Producing home automation products of the highest quality is our top priority here at Loxone. We remain dedicated to manufacturing only the best smart home products, and developing the most advanced yet user friendly configuration software. We work extremely hard to produce top quality products at an affordable price. After all, we use Loxone in our own homes, so it’s in our interest to ensure our products are manufactured to the highest standard.

5 WAYS WE ENSURE QUALITY:

1. MINISERVER MADE IN AUSTRIA

We are proud to be able to say that every one of our core products is “100% Made in Austria”.
Production in Asia would probably be cheaper, however, it would not be sustainable, or meet our quality standards.

2. TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

We always take full responsibility for the development of our products and are very reluctant ever to out-source. For this reason, all our products are developed 100% in-house. That includes the Miniserver’s operating system, hardware development and the design and implementation of all our software and apps.

3. PRODUCT TESTING

  • Each input and output is checked and tested with several switching operations
  • The firmware is started and a test program loaded up and run
  • The software logic goes through a semantic test
  • Our result: our statistics show that we have a failure rate of less than 1 per 2000 units shipped

4. IN-HOME TESTING

We spend a great deal of time developing products to be as reliable and useful as possible. Together with our Beta testing community, Loxonauts test out new products and software releases on their own Miniservers at home before they are launched. This allows us to see exactly how they perform in a real-life situation. We can then make improvements and tweaks to ensure the finished product meets our expectations.

2 YEAR WARRANTY

We offer a 24 month warranty on all of our products as well as free technical support so you can be assured that should you ever encounter a problem with your Loxone hardware, we’ll help you put it right.
