Do I need a new smart air conditioner, or can I integrate my existing one?
With the LOXONE AC Control, air conditioners from eight leading manufacturers are going smart in record time. Whether you’re installing a new air conditioner or want to integrate an existing one, the installation takes just a few minutes, and then you can integrate your air conditioner into your building automation system or control it via the app.
Which air conditioning units are compatible?
LOXONE AC Control supports many popular air conditioning systems – including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Gree, Sinclair, and Panasonic. You can find the complete compatibility list in the LOXONE Shop.
How much of a difference does automatic shading really make?
Up to 9°C cooler – that’s what measurements in buildings with automatic shading control show. Blinds and external venetian blinds adjust based on the sun’s position, the outside temperature, and the weather forecast. This maximises natural light while selectively blocking direct sunlight.
Can I use my solar PV system for cooling?
Yes. The LOXONE Energy Manager detects excess PV power and automatically prioritises cooling – before electricity is fed into the grid. This means cooling takes place when electricity is available anyway. This significantly reduces the operating costs of the air conditioning system.
Does LOXONE keep the house cool even when I'm not home?
In Eco Mode, LOXONE protects the building from overheating – even when you’re away – using minimal energy. Using the LOXONE App, you can remotely control the system at any time or switch it to Comfort Mode before you get home.
I'm an electrician - can I install LOXONE cooling myself?
