Fixed

Access

  • BG-I54358: a Virtual Key could not be deleted when the Miniserver refused to remove it, so the card stayed forever; the app now explains the refusal and lets you remove the key from the phone anyway.
  • BG-I54231: After updating from the old NFC app with several Miniservers, adding the Virtual Key of one of them again created a third card, and removing a card could remove access; the key is now added to its existing card
  • BG-I54323: Learning a Virtual Key that is already registered no longer adds it again. For the same user the app opens the existing card, and for another user it asks before reassigning, as user management does.
  • BG-I54780: NFC features were offered on devices that cannot use them
    • Virtual Keys, including the Lock Screen widget, are no longer offered on iPad or on phones and tablets without NFC
    • NFC tag functions are no longer offered on tablets without NFC
  • BG-I54254: On Android, the phone had to be unlocked before the Code Touch accepted the Virtual Key, unlike the old NFC app; it now also works while the phone is locked or its screen is off, and Virtual Key Settings in NFC Smart Tags can switch this off
  • BG-I54377: On iOS, after a successful Virtual Key tap the card could not be tapped again without going back to the wallet; tapping the card now presents the key again
  • BG-I54351: On iOS, the intercom no longer asks for microphone access after every app start, and the Settings button of the permission hints opens the iOS settings again

A Virtual Key screen with a close button now appears at once, errors show on it with a retry, and after a successful unlock the app returns to the Home Screen
  • BG-I54465: on iPhone, presenting a Virtual Key could show “Virtual Key could not be used” although the reader accepted it and opened; the error now only shows when the reader really found no key.
  • BG-I54599: Open/Close Buttons in Gate Central showed the wrong Icons
  • BG-I54723: Virtual Key cards with a photo background no longer show a gray box for several seconds after returning to the app; the picture now appears right away

Ambient Mode

  • BG-I29294: After saving to the Miniserver or restarting it, the screensaver no longer stays off on a dimmed screen until the display is touched

Audio

  • BG-I54322: On a local connection, players of Wireless Speakers and Audioservers could stay on Retrieving data for minutes in networks where their secure connection does not get through; the app now switches to the plain local connection after a few seconds

Climate

  • BG-I53214: Manual heating of the Climate Controller was not correctly displayed in the app
  • BG-I54362: The climate controller would say “Heating and cooling disabled” even if it was just inactive because of not enough demand
  • BG-I54389: The outdoor temperature and room demand sections of the Climate Controller no longer overlap

Device Learning

  • Technologies in device search which were not available on client gateway systems were not correctly disabled

Energy

  • BG-I54330: In the last minute of a statistics interval, live energy charts showed a point at the next interval beyond the filled area; the selection now ends where the chart is filled
  • BG-I44054: Live production of several bidirectional meters is no longer reduced by the idle draw of the others
  • BG-I54713: The consumption total of a past day in the live view was wrong; it now matches the Day view
  • BG-I54258: The EFM rest node hint always described energy; in the live power view it now describes power
  • BG-I54319: The phone’s bottom bar covered the last buttons of the Energy Manager; they now stay above it
  • BG-I54762: The Wallbox charging limit slider now uses the new range after switching between 1 and 3 phases

  • BG-I51210: A control detail screen could crash with a “null is not an object” error when the Miniserver structure updated while several screens were tearing down at once
  • BG-I54349: A heating or cooling period could not end after 31 December; its end can now be picked in the following year
  • BG-I54227: A new user or visualisation password could be saved without the repeated password matching
  • BG-I54523: A system message about a control, e.g. an offline valve actuator, replaced the buttons on its card; the card now keeps its buttons and the message is shown in the control details
  • BG-I53417: A triggered burglar alarm played its alarm sound again at every alarm level, so it sounded for about 5 seconds and came back 20 seconds later; the sound now plays once when the alarm triggers and stays silent at the later levels until the alarm has ended
  • A triggered fire alarm played its alarm sound at the pre-alarm and again at the main alarm; the sound now plays once when the alarm triggers and stays silent at the main alarm until the alarm has been acknowledged
  • BG-I55009: After an outdated two-step login code, the app now says that a new code was sent and to use the code from the newest email
  • BG-I54603: After logging off or deleting a Miniserver while offline, push notifications no longer keep arriving, and the next login asks again to enable them
  • BG-I54602: After the phone’s push notification token changed, for example after restoring an iPhone from a backup, the app could hang at start; it now starts normally, and if the new token cannot be passed on, a message says so and push notifications are set up again as you connect to each Miniserver
  • BG-I53296: All saved Miniservers could disappear from the app when the list could not be read at app start
  • BG-I51174: An App Position that was already saved as a Quick Action could be saved a second time, and the “cannot be saved” bar on iPhone was hard to read; the save button now does nothing for an existing position and the bar is readable
  • BG-I52081: an operating mode referenced from a room was missing from the Automatic Designer’s condition list; it now shows up there, while still staying hidden from the action list
  • BG-I44726: Android Auto could report that a command could not be sent; commands from the car are now sent through the new Miniserver communicator
  • BG-I53449: Callers added on the Miniserver were not offered when setting up an Automatic Designer caller action; the current callers are now always listed
  • BG-I54605: Central blocks with password-protected controls now also control the ones not visualized for you

  • BG-I54401: Deleting a Miniserver could end the connection to the current one and show an error
    • Deleting a Miniserver you are not connected to from its About Miniserver screen also disconnected the Miniserver you were using; the screen now just closes and the app stays connected
    • A System Status update that arrived just before a connection ended started a request afterwards, which sent the app back to the Miniserver list and, with debugging enabled, asked for a debug log; such late requests are now dropped
  • TC1-I452: Help text “more” gradient let the background text show through in light mode
  • BG-I53919: In dark mode the status bar icons (time, network, notifications) were black and unreadable on every page below the green main header, especially after returning to the app; they now match the page shown underneath
  • BG-I53241: In the Battery Monitor, the instructions for swapping batteries of the Button Air and the Wrist Button Air opened the LOXONE support page instead of the device’s instructions
  • BG-I53572: In the System Schematic, a value too long for a block with a fixed width broke onto a second line that was cut off; it is shortened with an ellipsis on one line again, as before 17.2

  • BG-I54601: Logging off or deleting a Miniserver without push notifications could make the app forget that push was turned off for another Miniserver, along with its notification settings, and ask to enable push for it again; only the Miniserver logged off or deleted is affected now
  • BG-I53779: Miniserver rows could be dragged sideways out of the list when reordering
  • BG-I54795: On Android, after notifications were allowed while the app was open, push notifications did not show in the app and tapping one did nothing until the app was restarted; both now work right away
  • BG-I54658: On Android, the PDF with a user’s login details could not be created
  • BG-I53961: On iOS, choosing “New Quick Action” from the app icon while the app was closed left the app stuck on the loading screen; it now connects to the last Miniserver and opens Quick Actions
  • BG-I54712: On iOS, the app could stay squeezed into the top part of the screen with a black area below it after switching Miniservers; it now fills the whole screen again
  • BG-I52341: On some Android 13 and 14 phones the app left a black bar at the camera cutout instead of drawing behind it
  • BG-I54610: On Windows, double-clicking the tray icon no longer opened the app; now a click opens the app and a right-click opens the tray menu
  • BG-I48526: On Windows, time is now shown in 12h or 24h form according to the Windows region setting instead of the display language, so for example an English interface on a Windows PC set to 24h shows clocks, the weather forecast, alarms and event timestamps in 24h form
  • BG-I54710: Opening the desktop app with a LOXONE link could fail with an error and overwrite the saved entry of the previously used Miniserver; the app now connects only to the linked Miniserver
  • BG-I43357: Presence detection and quick actions in the desktop tray did not work in IPv6-only networks (NAT64/DNS64); they now also reach the Miniserver by its certificate name when its local IP fails
  • BG-I45153: Presence detection in the desktop app could stay on “sending”; presence is now sent through the new Miniserver communicator
  • BG-I42435: Presence detection in the desktop app did not work when the Miniserver redirects HTTP to HTTPS; it now connects over HTTPS
  • BG-I54604: Requests started just before leaving a Miniserver could still run afterwards
    • Device search: on a Wall Display, leaving the Miniserver right after a device was found could ask for an administrator login; the found devices are no longer requested once the connection ended or the search stopped
    • Push notifications: when enabling them had to be retried because the push service did not answer, switching to another Miniserver in the meantime could register this device on that one instead; the retry is now dropped once its Miniserver is no longer in use
  • BG-I53923: Right after connecting to a new Miniserver, the connection could drop briefly, which made the push notification popup appear, disappear and appear again
  • BG-I54527: Saved App Positions in the Quick Actions list showed “undefined” next to the Miniserver name, and saved commands did not show their room; App Positions now show only the Miniserver name and commands show the Miniserver name followed by the room
  • BG-I54828: Saving a new scene for CarPlay seemed to do nothing; the reason is now shown above the keyboard
  • BG-I51780: Some control cards and list entries jumped or showed a loading text while the app was connecting
    • Intercom: the card showed Retrieving data until its states arrived; it now keeps an empty line instead
    • Energy Flow Monitor: the card grew from one to two lines once its values arrived; it now keeps its height from the start
    • Intercom Gen. 2: a ringing doorbell only appeared on the card once the app had connected to the intercom; it now shows as soon as the Miniserver reports it
    • Intercom Gen. 2: while the app was connecting to the intercom, its waiting screen showed only an icon; it says Connecting again
    • Audio: cards and list entries showed Retrieving data while the app connected to the Audioserver; they now stay empty until the zone’s information arrives, and only show it when the connection takes longer than 10 seconds
  • BG-I54373: Switching Miniservers sometimes left the Tabbar with wrong labels.
  • BG-I41883: System Scheme – how far one mouse wheel notch zoomed depended on the operating system’s scroll setting; each notch now zooms by the same step again
  • System Scheme zoom and pan behaved inconsistently
    • A sideways mouse wheel or trackpad swipe zoomed out; it now moves the zoomed-in scheme sideways
    • The first mouse wheel notch after resetting the zoom jumped too far or zoomed the wrong way; every notch now zooms by the same step
    • A double-tap zoomed in two steps at once and could zoom out below the smallest size; it now zooms by one step
    • In the Web Interface and the desktop app a double-click or double-tap did nothing; it now zooms by one step there too
    • A pinch could jump when released or end below the smallest size; it now ends where it is released, or at the smallest size
    • A pinch could zoom in beyond the largest size and stay there; it now returns to the largest size when released
  • BG-I54490: The navigation buttons covered the Add Miniserver button at the end of the Miniserver list
  • BG-I53199: The System Status icon on a control, such as a Power Supply & Backup in backup mode, only appeared after switching the tile view on or off and stayed after the message was resolved; it now appears and disappears with the message
  • BG-I53534: The Touch & Grill statistic showed its whole-degree temperatures with a decimal (76.0°C) and opened zoomed out to more than a day; it now shows whole degrees and opens on about an hour on a phone and about four hours on a computer
  • BG-I54632: The web interface shows its version again instead of undefined
  • BG-I51769: User Management (and other in-progress screens) closed unexpectedly after switching to another app and back.
  • BG-I52435: User settings phone number not validated
  • BG-I43928: Users with several Apple devices on the same Apple ID were randomly logged out; login data is now stored on each device only and no longer synced via iCloud Keychain

    • The requested-energy target is no longer shown for vehicles that do not report it (the Miniserver sends -1).
    • The add-vehicle action is no longer offered for vehicles whose ID the Miniserver reports as unknown.

Intercom

  • BG-I54257: The Intercom Gen. 2 video sometimes stayed black or showed errors
    • After switching between WiFi and mobile data the video stayed black; it now restarts once the connection is back
    • A reconnect that switched between the local and the remote connection, for example when leaving the home WiFi, left the video black until the intercom was opened again; the video now restarts
    • In the desktop app the video stayed black after the computer woke from sleep, and on all platforms whenever the connection to the Miniserver dropped before the one to the intercom; it now restarts once the connection is back
    • On a local connection without HTTPS the video could stay black for good after a connection loss or a change of the intercom’s IP address, once the app had been in the background before; it now reconnects
    • On Android, the Wall Display and the desktop app a video error briefly showed while the video was retried after a failed start; it now shows the video once it plays
    • Opening the activities or settings before the video had started left a black video without a play button on return; the video now starts
    • A structure change while the video was starting showed that the video was deactivated and left it black; the video now starts normally
    • Tapping Talk while the video was playing made the picture flicker; it now keeps playing
    • In the doorbell window the visitor’s snapshot could jump back into the small preview after another device took over the video; it now stays large
  • BG-I54630: With the speaker set to Automatic, calls with an Intercom Gen. 1 or a user defined intercom switch to the earpiece again while the phone is held to the ear, and back to the loudspeaker when it is taken away
    • On iPhone, the screen turns off while the phone is held to the ear

iOS

  • BG-I54787: The first Miniserver search after installing the app found nothing, even after local network access was allowed; the search now continues once access is allowed, and says so when access is missing instead of reporting that no Miniservers were found

macOS

  • BG-I54361: Opening the app from LOXONE Config or a LOXONE link while the app was not running showed a JavaScript error and ignored the link; the app now opens without the error on the linked Miniserver
  • BG-I54160: Showing the LOXONE App in the menu bar also made it launch automatically at login; launching at login is now a separate setting that stays off until you switch it on
  • BG-I54851: The date picker of the statistics did not respond to clicks; it works again
  • BG-I54612: The window can be moved again by dragging the header of control screens such as the Intercom

Shading

  • BG-I54624: Roller shutters now show their own shading icon instead of the one for blinds with slats

Wall Display

  • BG-I54269, BG-I54541: A Wall Display paired in managed mode could get stuck for hours on the “Managed tablet” screen with “Unpair tablet” and “Back”, or on its login-failed variant; Wall Displays no longer show this screen, return to their Miniserver on their own and show a waiting screen while they reconnect, and can no longer be unpaired from the display itself

  • BG-I52758: A line in saved as a favourite was always shown as disabled and offered no play button

Climate

  • BG-I52932: The hint for a paused air conditioning unit showed only the resume time, so a pause ending on a later day was indistinguishable from one ending today
  • BG-I51476: The room controller hint for a mode ending at midnight was grammatically wrong in Czech and other languages
  • BG-I48729: The room controller temperature limits were corrected, the manual temperature now reaches the frost and heat protection values, the comfort range accounts for the eco deviation, and the eco temperature may equal the protection temperature

Device Search

  • BG-I52987: A blank screen was sometimes shown instead of the loading screen while loading or after being kicked out of the search
  • BG-I52995: A device kept blinking after the app was closed or sent to the background, identification is now stopped when the app goes to the background and started again when it returns
  • BG-I53276: A switchboard created in the selection screen of the device information was not shown afterwards, so it looked as if the creation had failed
  • BG-I52984: The Add Device button stayed green and looked usable after the last found device had been learned in
  • BG-I52980: The fields for row and position inside a panel could still be changed with the buttons although the whole cell was marked as disabled

Energy

  • BG-I53454: Consumption in the energy flow monitor no longer cancels itself out when a rest node feeds back
  • BG-I52996: Group nodes in the EFM live view were fixed, a top level group no longer shows grey and without flow, a group spanning several node types shows everything flowing towards the house as one value and everything flowing away as the other with proper direction arrows, and a node at the top of the flow spider no longer draws its two values in reverse order
  • BG-I52633: In the date selection of the energy screens the month and year options were tiny and cramped
  • BG-I53325: In the live energy flow monitor a meter recording less often left the midnight datapoint empty, which showed all production as battery charging

  • BG-I53277: A screen that requires the visu password showed its locked screen without ever asking for the password, and no screen asked again until the app was restarted, after a request had been interrupted by a lost connection
  • BG-I53053: A white strip appeared at the bottom of the screen over menus and dialogs on Android
  • BG-I52542: Animations running for a long time, such as the pulsating news badge or running text, caused performance issues and freezing
  • BG-I40993: Deleting the locally cached statistic data of a control removed it from the cache index but left the data files behind, because their file names were built with an undefined serial number

  • BG-I48425: Long screen header titles were clipped or wrapped over the header actions, they now shrink their font size before wrapping to a second line
  • Navigating to the ambient mode on a window too small for it now warns instead of just showing the favorites
  • BG-I52495: Opening a LOXONE link, for example from an NFC tag or a QR code, while the app was fully closed did not take you to the linked location on iOS
