A villa near Bochnia

Our primary goal was to create an intuitive and comprehensive building automation system for a spacious villa. Initially, the investors considered choosing a solution from another manufacturer, but after a series of discussions and demonstrations of Loxone's capabilities, we managed to convince them to choose this technology. Thanks to their trust and the complete design freedom they entrusted us with, we were able to implement the entire system comprehensively – from wiring, through configuration, to final commissioning. The result is a modern smart home, where automation supports the residents' daily lives in every area – from lighting and heating, to security and comfort.

In this project, we focused on maximum automation and ease of use. Reducing the number of traditional switches and using a large number of presence sensors allowed us to create a "following light" effect – the system automatically responds to the presence of household members, providing lighting precisely where needed.



DALI lighting was used in most rooms, allowing for precise control of light intensity and adjustment of brightness to the time of day, activity, or mood of the residents. This allows the house not only to respond to presence but also to create the right atmosphere in every situation.



The Loxone Miniserver is also responsible for managing the security systems, offering comprehensive protection – from flood and intrusion detection, through window and door opening control, to presence simulation that effectively deters potential intruders.



The multiroom audio system based on the Loxone Audioserver allowed us to create a unique soundscape throughout the home. The "following music" effect provides not only comfort but also a unique user experience. Dedicated Loxone speakers are used in more than a dozen audio zones, ensuring excellent sound quality.



Automatic shading control – both for blinds and curtains – operates fully autonomously, depending on the time of day, sunlight, and occupancy. Integration with ducted air conditioning and heat recovery ventilation allowed us to achieve a high level of comfort while simultaneously increasing the building's energy efficiency.



The Loxone system also manages the heating, optimizing energy consumption and adjusting the temperature to the occupants' lifestyle. A Loxone NFC keypad controls access to the building, and a video intercom (Intercom) with an additional NFC keypad was installed at the entrance gate. This allows owners to open the gate, contact a guest or courier, and, for example, remotely grant access to the property from anywhere in the world.
