When this single-family home was built in Göppingen, it immediately became clear that intelligent home and building automation would play an important role. The client, a trained electrician, was aware from the start that conventional installation would be replaced by intelligent home and building automation.



While looking for a suitable system for his home, the building owner received a recommendation from a colleague to use Loxone.

The single-family home was then equipped with Loxone by Loxone partner Clever2Smart in order to implement intelligent functions in the areas of shading, lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation and access systems.



Lighting has a significant influence on well-being in the home. With Loxone, different lamps, light levels and colors can be easily combined to create individual lighting atmospheres. The lighting moods are easily managed via the Loxone app. This means the perfect atmosphere can be created for every occasion. The “night function”, in which dimmed lights accompany the nightly journey, is particularly popular with residents.



The automatic shading in the house offers sun protection, privacy and maximum energy efficiency. The building continuously records the current position of the sun and reacts accordingly: in summer it prevents the rooms from overheating, while in winter it uses the natural sun's rays for heating. In addition, the recorded temperature and CO2 data are passed on to the mini server, which then controls the heating, cooling or ventilation accordingly.



Loxone's intelligent access control ensures security in the building. Access is via NFC Code Touch. The required access rights can be easily managed via the Loxone app.



Residents also particularly appreciate the ability to leave the house and literally have all the functionalities in their hands. A glance at the Loxone app is enough to ensure that all windows are closed and lights are turned off when leaving the house.
