Challenge

The pampering and connoisseur hotel Sonnhof offers a family atmosphere in the midst of the Salzburg mountains. Loxone made a significant contribution to the unique feel-good ambience with the intelligent building automation. It was important to the hotel owners that the system could be conveniently and easily controlled via the smartphone of the staff or the reception. Switching points in the guest area were an absolute no-go.

Solution

At the Verwöhnhotel Sonnhof, among other things, the lighting control with motion detectors was implemented by Loxone. With a double click, the room lights up brightly for the cleaning staff. The heating control ensures an optimal room climate in relaxation rooms, shower and pool areas. In case of malfunction messages of the pool, ventilation or chlorine dosing room, the miniserver automatically notifies the house technician. Emergency calls from hotel guests in the saunas are also sent to the miniserver and via push notification to the sauna master.

For hotel operators, it is extremely practical that the entire wellness area is illuminated in the right lighting mood at the touch of a button. The same applies to cleaning staff: with a double click, the room is brightly lit - with a triple click, everything is off again. Another highlight is the automated fault messages. In the chlorine dosing room, for example, the ventilation is monitored by a pressure switch. In the event of a fault, the technician is warned before entering the room.
